Information
The Fringe (I) features a visually captivating design highlighted by short fringes adorned with vibrant wooden beads in an array of colors. These colorful accents beautifully enhance the dynamic V pattern cascading across the chest, creating a mesmerizing movement with every performance. Adding to its allure are nine gold eyelets on each side of the chest.
The cuffs of the jumpsuit are finished off with three elegant white buttons, providing a polished contrast to the dynamic fringes and ensuring that even the smallest details reflect the meticulous craftsmanship that went into this outfit.
This fringe (I) made its debut on the opening night of the 1970 August/September Las Vegas engagement, while MGM was filming the documentary film "Elvis: That's The Way It Is". It has turned out that there were two 'almost identical' versions of the "Fringe Suit".
The 'first version' was worn during the 1970 Vegas August/September engagement, as well as the 1970 September tour. The 'second version' was worn during the 1970 November tour. See description here.
